Imagine sitting around a bonfire with people who are safe, inclusive, and curious. As the sky darkens, your conversations turn to deep questions- why does the Tarot have four suits? If Tarot didn’t exist and you wanted to create a divination system, how would you structure it? Through Tarot Fora, we are creating a space to be lovingly curious, playful, and questioning about Tarot. We are exploring the underpinnings of this tool and its relationships with us, our communities, and other systems. As a result, we are forging stronger personal and communal relationships with Tarot.
Tarot Fora is a new offering that is discussion-focused and delves beyond the meanings of the cards to address deeper layers of this tool, its structure, and uses. The goal is to promote critical thinking through the use of open-ended questions. My role as facilitator is not to teach you; it is to create safe space for open conversations and subterranean explorations of Tarot.
Tarot Fora will meet every other week for 2 hours from May to July 2022, with options to purchase a 2 fora pass. Each forum will include a short overview and background on the topic followed by questions for group discussion. Fora may also include activities, small groups, and reflection.

Course Details & Sign Up
When: Every other week on Wednesdays from 7-9 PM ET for May – July. Each forum will last approximately 2 hours. You can also purchase a 2 fora pass that can be used at any 2 fora of your choosing.
Where: Zoom. Fora will be recorded for participants that cannot attend live.
