XVI La Maison Dieu (also know as The Tower) 3. How can we let our intuition take the lead during this time? 6 of Cups 4. What do we need to take a break from? VII The Chariot 5. Where can we find support and anchor during all of the eclipse upheaval? Ace of Cups |
| For those of us who have major placements in Aries or Libra (such as the sun, moon, or ruler of your rising sign), this eclipse season has certainly shaken up a lot! The last lunar eclipse was directly on top of my IC, a scant 2.5 degrees away from my Moon in Libra. The last time we had an Aries-Libra eclipse axis was from 2013-2015; it was slightly different because the North and South Nodes had swapped places, but it’s a helpful time to look back on for potential patterns. We’ve been in this current eclipse axis since April of last year and won’t finish until March 2025, so I thought it might be helpful to do a spread on eclipse lessons and support. These eclipses are most directly impacting the areas of our life where we feel most grounded: our homes, our family (or chosen family), those we give care to, and our creature comforts. This season is effectively turning us upside down and shaking us until all of our money and favorite items fall out of our pockets. It’s asking us to re-evaluate what’s actually worth our time and value, to expose the niggling feelings of having to hide certain parts of ourselves to feel loved and stable. Where are you compromising? Don’t you deserve to live in full safety of self wherever you are, and to carry that with you? Sometimes the visions we held as children are mostly a painful reminder, but other times they can remind us of what we really want. Connect in with nostalgia where you can; let it move your heart and soul towards visions long forgotten. Get carried away. This eclipse season is not the time to be pushing forward, exerting our will and seeking momentum. What does it feel like to sit inside an unmoving vehicle? Can there be pleasure in the pause too? Eclipses can be challenging. Particularly with the fiery energy of the solar eclipse in Aries this Monday, adding in water can greatly help to reduce any life inflammation. Your anchors are the things that light you up and excite you. The potential for new connections, for new emotions, for a full cup that never runs dry. Is there something you always wanted to learn when you were young? Try gifting that to yourself now. During eclipses and retrogrades, sometimes what seems like moving backwards is actually finding flow. Until next time, dear readers! Lindsay |
